Vaccination Matters began with flu, and with the care sector, a workforce spread across many different employers, where the structures had never existed to bring people together or to hear them as a collective voice. Working alongside care homes and domiciliary teams, we learned a great deal about what helps, what gets in the way, and what people really think about vaccination.
We want to build a space for everyone working across vaccination. A place where good information is easy to find, where the demands of this work are understood, and where the people doing it feel genuinely part of how it gets better.
We believe that creating the space for this work to happen, sharing what’s known, listening to what people really think, understanding what works and what doesn’t, and offering practical support for the everyday realities of the job, is genuinely valuable. We started with flu and the care sector, and we’re growing from there.
This is your space. Whether you’ve got feedback about the Vaccination Matters website, thoughts on our content, or ideas for how we can make things even better, we want to hear from you. Your insights help us keep this site useful, relevant, and supportive for everyone across Lancashire and South Cumbria.
